Kirke Park Work Party

East side of 9th Ave NW between 70th & 73rd (map)

Good News! We finally have Parks Department support along with our excellent, ongoing City Fruit involvement.

We truly need 'All Hands On Deck' to fully spruce up our lovely park. I hope that you will find time to come and help achieve this goal.

Please let me know if you'd like to help at another time. We can work together.

All the Best--Ann

Discovery Park Work Party

Discovery Park (map)

Help us make way for more native plant habitat by removing the many invasive blackberry plants encroaching on the south meadow. This will take a combination of pruning and digging the blackberry out of the forest edge of the meadow. We will mulch disturbed areas with wood chips to keep weed seeds and resprouts at bay. All tools will be provided. Click here to register for the April 12 work party.
